March Madness | Fashion Edition 31: Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger

I though I'd end NYFW and March Madness with the epitome of American brands. Simple, preppy and classic. Gotta love 'em.

Calvin Klein. Big Black Belts. 'Nuff said.

Ralph Lauren's collection for the fall seemed very sophisticated and European with all the fur and berets.

Tommy Hilfiger went English style with the tweed and tailoring, but that's right up my alley, so I'm not complaining.

March Madness | Fashion Edition 30: Vera Wang, Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors

As much as I love her wedding dresses, Vera Wang's RTW collection wasn't stunning. It was alright. The first half the show was all neutrals, and then it switched to color and florals...

Marc Jacobs...metallics.

And from the diffusion line, Marc by Marc Jacobs. I didn't like this collection as much.

Finally, to end on Michael Kors. It had a very spaceship-y feel to it.

March Madness | Fashion Edition 29: Oscar de la Renta, Marchesa, Reem Acra

Today, it's gonna be gowns galore! All three of these fashion houses are known for their breathtaking gowns...no exception this year.

Oscar de la Renta...do you think of anything else but flowy pieces of artwork in clothes form? I had to include one outfit with that funky hat...and those last two pieces look like they belong in a Disney movie.

Marchesa went for more neutral colors but the detail was still impeccable.

Finally, Reem Acra. I hadn't heard this name until about a month ago. One of my friends recently got engaged and she was talking about bridal dresses and this name came up. And then when I saw it on Fashion Week...well, I can see why she was considering this designer. Although, this fall line was quite dark.

March Madness | Fashion Edition 28: Badgley Mischka, Anna Sui, J.Mendel

Badgley Mischka's look was all cool and sexy. Again, a lot of gorgeous gowns.

Anna Sui's collection was bright and electric.

And finally, J. Mendel. I usually don't watch out for this one, but I tried it out this season and I really like the simplistic, feminine design.
