This goes back to THE classic scent for women. Chanel no 5. Enough said.

Though, I must say, I love the Chanel Chance range as well.

Major Notes: Solar Accord, Jasmine Sambac, Green Notes, Cashmeran, Vanilla, Transparent Amber

I've haven't heard a lot of people talk about this scent, but the few who have have absolutely loved. It's got great reviews on Sephora's website as well. Apparently it's supposed to last all day. I've never worn a perfume like that.

The name and the bottle make the scent seem sexy and mysterious, which is what all women strive for...at least to some extent right?

Fragrance February 25: Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb

Major Notes: Sambac Jasmine, Centifolia Rose, Cattelaya Orchid, Ballerina Freesia, Patchouli

This scent is a beautiful floral bouquet tied together with patchouli. So feminine and strong.

Fragrance February 24: Gucci Guilty

Maybe it's not so much the bottle but the ads that you see that make this scent so daring and sexy. The bottle doesn't look overly feminine; it could almost be a cologne bottle.

Major Notes: Mandarin, Pink Pepper, Peach, Lilac, Geranium, Amber, Patchouli

Fragrance February 23: Miss Dior Eau de Parfum

Major Notes: Italian Mandarin Essence, Jasmine Absolute, Indonesian Patchouli

I like that this scent is simple and straightforward. Gorgeous bottle as well. It's an extavagant and luxiourius purchase.

Fragrance February 22: Marc Jacobs Daisy

Major Notes: Strawberry, Violet Leaves, Ruby Red Grapefruit, Gardenia, Violet Petals, Jasmine Petals, Musk, Vanilla, White Woods

This is a fruity-floral, but a sophisticated scent. The floral notes stand out more (kind of expected with the name Daisy). And the little flowers on the bottle look so delicate and cute!

Fragrance February 21: Burberry Body

Starting today, I'm going to start my wishlist of fragrances.

I'm going to start off with Burberry Body. In general I love Burberry or anything from the UK, in general as you'll see next month (!!!).

It's a beautiful bottle and an amazing scent. Sophisticated and sexy.

I just want to say that Burberry perfumes in general are right up my alley. Even the more fruity ones and citrusy, so I really like all of them.

Fragrance February 19: Japanese Cherry Blossom

This scent from BBW is quite popular.

Top Notes: Asian pear, Fuji apple, Ume plum

Middle Notes: Japanese cherry blossom, Butterfly lily, Kyoto rose, Mimosa petals, Hedione

Base Notes: Vanilla rice, Imperial amber, Silk musk, Cinnamon incense, Himalayan cedarwood, sandalwood

Fragrance February 18: Paris in Bloom

As suggested by the title, it is again a very floral fragrance with a hint of fruityness.

It's described as "a beautiful bouquet of pink peony, dewy pear, and blonde woods." (From the BBW website)

Top Notes: Bergamot, Lavender, Mandarin, Coriander

Very feminine and floral.

This is the permanent Paris scent that started it all.

Middle Notes: Peach, jasmine petals, french tulip, water lily, frangipani (plumeria)
Base Notes: French vanilla, coconut milk, amber wood, sandalwood, creamy musk

Fragrance February 15: Secret Wonderland

Top Notes: Strawberry, Raspberry, Wild Goji Berries
Middle Notes: Gardenia, Jasmine, Peach Nectar
Base Notes: Coconut musk, vanilla, sandalwood, white amber

Let me just say that the fruity notes of this scent don't really "show up." The base notes are really strong and that's what lingers the most.

Happy Valentine's Day! 

This scent will make you smell irresistible!

Major notes: French jasmine, clementine, cabernet musk

This was a limited edition scent in a limited edition bottle, but I'm sure if you really want it, you could find it on ebay or Amazon.

Fragrance February 13: VS Ravishing Love

Major notes: pomegranate, blackberry, lilac

This scent is from their VS Fantasies line. It comes in lotion, shower gel, etc.

Fragrance February 12: PINK Fresh & Clean

Major notes:fresh apple, lily

One thing about this scent: it almost comes of a little masculine sometimes. I think it could definitely be a unisex scent, even though it's supposed to have lily in it.

Fragrance February 9: Victoria Secret Angel

Major notes: sparkling plum, sheer violet, amber

I love that you can buy mini fragrance mists from VS for $8-$12. All those choices right near the counter. They always get to me.
Also, if you do decide to purchase the eau de parfum, the bottle has plastic white wings on the back of it. I love the little details.

Fragrance February 8: Body Shop White Musk

The name pretty much says it all. This scent does last a while.

It's quite a strong fragrance and may lean more mature.

Top Notes: Lily, Ylang-ylang
Middle/Base: jasmine, rose, musk, vanilla

Fragrance February 7: American Beauty wonderful

I received a sample of this, and I have to admit, I haven't used it much but this Fragrance February thing made me bring it out. I actually really like it. And it's cool because the sample is actually shaped just like the full size.

Unfortunately, American Beauty does not sell this anymore, though you can find it on ebay and the like.

The notes, as far as I can find are:

Fragrance February 2: Seen and Be Seen Sasha

Another Benefit perfume! This one is just a sample that the lady gave me when I was browsing the full selection.

Top notes: orange flower absolute, apricot, pink freesia

Middle notes: ylang ylang, tiare flower, white peony, jasmine sambac


Base notes: crystal amber, liquid musk, vanilla

Again, a full size (1 fl. oz) can be bought for $36.00. I love how Benefit has created a character and story for each perfume. Also, when you buy the full size, it comes in a cute little box shaped like a mini house.

Fragrance February 1: Something About Sofia

Welcome to Fragrance February everyone! First off, I wanted to let you know that I prefer citrus and floral scents, so you'll being seeing a lot of that this month. I'm going to kick it off with a Benefit fragrance, Something About Sofia.

From the Benefit website, here are the fragrance notes:

Top notes: mango, freesia
Middle notes: sheer lily, jasmine sambac, peony petal
Bottom notes: musk, white caramel, vanilla bean

The scent is not too strong or too light, and lasts for about 4 hours.

This perfume can be bought wherever Benefit cosmetics are sold, for $36.00.
